What is a Gun Safety Seminar and Responsible Gun Ownership Seminar (GSRGOS)?
A Gun Safety Seminars allows aspiring gun owners to be equipped with fundamental knowledge in gun safety, handling, maintenance, and care. Such courses are required by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for aspiring gun owners as it is a mandated requirement to obtain a License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF).

What to expect in a GSRGOS?
By the end of the Gun Safety Seminar, you will be expected to master the fundamentals of Gun Safety, the Four Cardinal Rules, basic firearm care and maintenance, and be aware of the Laws and Policies of the Republic of the Philippines pertaining to firearms.
Note: This is the seminar required for aspiring gun owners under Republic Act No. 10591. The certificates of this seminar will be validated by the Philippine National Police. As such, those who will take this seminar must be 21 years old or above. Learn more about the LTOPF requirements here.
